Management Assessment

Do you know if your executives meet or even exceed the requirements of their position? Who are the top-performers of the future? Are you able to identify and use your executives’ potential? Are your executives able to perform if the strategy is changed? These and other questions are answered through management assessment.

With all of the costs of recruiting or promotions in mind, it is more than reasonable to ask for a second, independent evaluation. Management assessment will dramatically reduce the risks these processes present. The reasons for a management assessment can be very diverse.

Our methodology uses both subjective and objective evaluation methods that produce very valid results. If there are differences in our findings after these two steps, we focus on those gaps during the reference-taking.

  • Semi-structured interview about a person’s socialisation
  • Structured interview based on the competence model agreed upon with the client
  • Psychometric test
  • References from three groups: 360° feedback (incl. the relevant supervisor) in the current and former work environment; clients and suppliers; outside parties such as business consultants, lawyers or coaches
  • Benchmarking against the required profile of the position under discussion
  • Assessment of the candidate’s potential
  • Final analysis/reporting
  • Recommendation regarding HR development

Our assessment process ensures a reliable and valid appraisal of top executives. The goal is, first, to provide an assessment of current performance and, second, to provide the most accurate forecast possible of a top executive’s future performance.

Our clients receive a comprehensive report that covers the following elements: detailed assessment for each criterion and sub-criterion, benchmarking against the position under discussion and against the candidate’s market peers, assessment of potential and recommendations for HR development.

Our assessments also include a thorough feedback in a personal meeting with the candidate.
